About Thomas

Poet, performer, and believer in the power of ceremony — Thomas Keily founded The Library of Love to help readers find the right words and deliver them with heart.

Thomas Keily has been the Head Librarian at The Library of Love for the past 3 years, building on almost 30 years of performance experience and a nerdy love of literature. He was the Director of a cabaret troupe in Newcastle for several seasons, and in recent years has become a leading expert on Mysticism and English Literature, with a particular focus on the poetry of Walt Whitman, Gerard Manly Hopkins and Elizabeth Barrett-Browning.

He is a big believer in Love and the power of ceremony, and he is passionate about poetry’s ability to give voice to love. For performance enquiries, please contact: hello@libraryof.love.
